In order to ensure the effective operation of our Customs Compliance department, the role of the Customs Compliance Administrative Assistant will be crucial. This position necessitates a high level of organizational proficiency and a remarkable level of meticulousness. The preferred applicant should possess the ability to effectively manage office operations while also offering vital support to our Customs Compliance team. Your fervor for individuals and your aptitude for proficiently engaging with others are crucial, as you will regularly engage with project teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders.

This position entails:

Execute routine administrative duties such as adeptly inputting data, organizing files, scanning, and managing documents.
It is imperative to keep precise and well-structured electronic and physical filing systems.
Manage both incoming and outgoing communication, encompassing electronic mail, telephone conversations, and physical mail.
Aid in the upkeep and revision of spreadsheets and other digital documents.
Proficiency in billing and managing accounts receivable.
Previous experience in a Customs position is desirable, accompanied by expertise in:
Classification of tariffs
Free Trade Agreement
Corrections to the Post Entry
Customs Clearance (CARM)
