Responsibilities

The Director of Finance and Administrative Services, who reports to the Associate Vice President of Facilities, holds a distinct role in providing administrative leadership within the field of Facilities Management. This role encompasses various functional areas such as finance and budgeting, human resources, materials and contract management, information technology, and risk management. The individual selected for this position assumes a crucial function as a member of the senior leadership team in Facilities Management. Their primary responsibility is to offer direct assistance to the Associate Vice President (Facilities), the Director of Operations and Maintenance, the Director of Engineering and Construction, and the wider management team within the department. The responsibilities encompass guiding the strategic direction of administration and operations, supervising a team of finance and administration, human resources, and materials and contract management personnel, managing various administrative tasks such as accounting and financial operations, budget planning, and preparation/monitoring, overseeing and monitoring funds, conducting formal financial reviews, planning administrative activities for operational/project needs, analyzing fiscal information/statistics to identify trends, overseeing human resource management activities including employee and labor relations, staff training and development, attendance and accommodation management, undertaking service/quality initiatives, and overseeing

Qualifications

The candidate possesses a minimum of 8-10 years of administrative experience in more accountable positions, encompassing areas such as accounting, finance, human resources, and/or operations management. Additionally, they have obtained a degree in business administration or a closely connected discipline. The preferred candidate should possess a comprehensive comprehension of contemporary administration and optimal methodologies; a demonstrated history of esteemed achievements in a multifaceted setting; a leadership and management approach that is efficacious in a cooperative and cooperative atmosphere; exceptional oral and written communication abilities; advanced proficiency in analyzing and interpreting information; and aptitude in negotiation and conflict resolution. It is necessary to possess a professional accounting designation.

The annual salary for the Leadership Group ranges from $94,357 to $124,155.
