The Registered Care Aide delivers resident care in alignment with the organization’s set vision and values, adhering to a resident-centered care philosophy and adhering to regional and facility policies and procedures. The Registered Care Aide, working alongside the Manager or their representative, carries out nursing procedures such as measuring temperature, pulse, and respiration. Additionally, they are responsible for providing care to residents, addressing their activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical, and recreational needs. Transports inhabitants and carries out administrative tasks.

Smithers Smithers is situated in the scenic Bulkley Valley, encompassed by three mountain ranges that create an Alpine environment for the community. The primary sectors include forestry, tourism, transportation, and agriculture are of significant importance. Smithers provides cost-effective housing and abundant natural beauty that promote a harmonious way of life. The approximate population of Smithers is 6,000 individuals, supplemented by an additional 5,000 individuals from the neighboring settlements who avail themselves of the available services. Requirements
A minimum requirement for this position is completion of Grade 10 and graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
